i need to know what needs to be done...i'm getting this d16z6 engine but the cam is jacked up so i want to temporarily throw on a d16a6 head and manifold being that my car is still obd0

i heard that I would need to plug of the oil lin/canal/path that would go to vtec on the d16z6 head?

so basically how do I swap a d16a6 head onto a d16z6 block?

could i just throw obd0 injectors into the d16z6 manifold to keep obd0, what else would i need to do?

Not sure about that oil hole....

But everything other than that will be fine. You don't need to go to OBD1.

Your going to need the the Z6 fuel rail, throttle body, and change the oil control jet that get sandwiched between the head and block.

Its going to be one slow *** car, unless you run 10-13psi on it like I do, hehe.

HOLY HELL !!! How did you get that many posts, but don't know the basics of swapping a Sohc head ?? ( not bashing, just wondering ).

 

it's been a long long long long time since i've dealt with SOHC or any engine for that matter...and d16a6 on a d16z6 is obviously not to common and i see it as sort of going backwards but i need to do something while i repair my d16z6 head
