Default intalling upper strut bars, need help/advice on which to choose

OK, going to install OEM Rear Stabilizer Bar 13 (mm)
on a Civic EX 2000 Coupe, same one that comes on the Si

I'm wanting to get this EX as close to an Si as I can afford, which is just suspension right now, and maybe the 15" wheels soon.

done some searching on HT and google.

I'm wanting advice on which upper strut bars to choose.
just go with Ractive or DC Sports or some similar upper strut ?
or is there some specific ones out there that really compliment the lower bars on this car?

I've read some threads on 3 points front upper strut, still can't decide if that is what I want to try out. love to hear peoples' experience with 3 pt. strut.

thanks

Then why not get the SI front upper strut bar?

3 point bar may bump you in class for autox or other racing events...(most likely not a concern)

besides that I'd say non-adjustable 2 point bar will be fine...

simple strut bars? you can just get a generic ones from eBay for like $30 a set. they're all the same IMO.

I agree with Grimm. Anything will work, but non-adjustable strut bars are a better way to go. Or get cheap adjustable ones, and get someone to weld the bolts.

OK, thanks again for the replies.

I talked to a guy at local import performance shop for a bit, he said installing upper strut bars and rear anti-sway bar won't make much noticeable difference without adding Coilover Suspension. heh, which is a little outta my price range right now.
btw, he said Nex Kit is just as good as Tien for lot less money.

He agreed that most bars are the same til you get up to like the Skunk2 strut bars, he said those are a little better. lighter and stronger

So my question is ---> will installing front and rear upper strut bars, and the lower anti-sway rear bar make much difference in handling by themselves ? noticeable ?

thanks

yea, almost bought an adjustable front strut bar.The local guy trying to sell it to me said you need adjustable to make sure it fits even thought its made for your model of car.
I'm glad you guys replied otherwise I would have gotten Ractive adjustable strut bar.
In searching for strut bars I've found lots of non-adjustable one. I'm guessing at worst you may have to use a rubber mallet to get it to fit.

going to install OEM Rear Stabilizer Bar 13 (mm)
on a Civic EX 2000 Coupe, same one that comes on the Si
I think I'm just going to install that for now then find some non-adjustable upper front and rear strut bars if I have $ left. found some for around $50 a piece.
damn ! with all parts --> $270 from dealership, those stinking brackets are $100 a pair > . the bar is just $70 .
seen used/cheaper ones on eBay but don't wanna take chance of being scammed, or get a bent bar or something, missing parts, etc.. read to many horror stories in Classifieds about getting scammed
if anyone knows a very reputable place online to buy OEM Honda parts for cheaper than dealerships please let me know

thanks again all, saved me from buying something I don't want
