Radio "audio" doesn't work - need advice
Original stock radio w/ CD changer controls in a 1995 Honda Accord EX
Radio fully functional, yet no audio reaching speakers. At any volume, all you here is a very faint signal at speakers. I had radio unit inspected and was told only that "the audio is out", all other functions operational. No other explanation as to why. However, was told that $100+ would repair the audio and get my radio functional again.
Please let me know if this appears to be (a) an internal amp issue, (B) a blown fuse of some sort, or (c) something else. I'd like to know what the issue is before repairing it, and if it is worth repairing or replacing.
Thanks!

definitely an amp issue if you are getting a faint signal. worth it to repair? only if you are very intent on keeping the stock radio. otherwise, you can get a nice sony for pretty cheap nowadays. you might try going to the junkard for that. im sure there are plenty of totalled cars with a nice aftermarket CD player just waiting to be snatched up.
