Brand new motor mistakenly driven 15 miles with mobil 1???
Dropped my freshly rebuilt motor into the car this past weekend and when I wasn't looking my buddy put some mobil 1 10w30 in there. I drove the car for 15.3 miles with the mobil 1 in there and as soon as I got home and realized it was in there, i swapped it out for something non detergent. I haven't started it up yet since I changed the oil but my question is, should just go out, let it warm up for a second and then beat on it pretty good to try to get the rings to seat or should I continue to baby it?
