Default Just bought a 90 civic std for $400

Well i just bought the car it has a blown motor but the body is in great shape. I want to put a hf motor in i have left from my crx swap. I was thinking i could just swap IM and it will plug right in am i correct?

you really should get a d15 16 valve motor. the dx ecu will not run the 8 valve sohc hf motor right plus dual point + hf motor maybe 50 hp

well how hard would it be to convert to MFI i have the complete hf swap ecu engine dizzy etc. do i just need a new harness or will the std one do?

just modify the std harness to perform the DPFI to MPFI conversion. It is what I did in my 90' std. Don't listen to the haters of the HF motor. I love mine at the time being, I do have a B16 to drop in it this summer, BUT with gas prices I have been enjoying my 40+ mpg!
