result of my leak down test.
I just installed cams and finally got the car to idle right. Off 2 tooth ha but its fixed. My valves were tickin really bad and it led me to believe that maybe some are bent. I adjusted the valves but still ticking. Took it to a shop and here's what they got.
#1 cylinder = 3%
#2 cylinder = 6%
#3 cylinder = 4%
#4 cylinder = 2%
He said my head was in good shape. He said it's normally between 2% - 8% and if it's any higher then I'm in trouble. He said he didn't hear anything from the exhaust and intake valves so he says their fine. I also did the paper trick on my exhaust and the air comes out a steady rhythm. I also don't hear hissing at my throttle body and intake, like air escaping. HE said do a valve adjustment again and make sure the rocker arms are still on and not lose. Does this sound right to you guys at all? You think my valves are fine and I just need to adjust them? TIA.

looks good to me.
ive upgraded to stage1 cams. they tick quite a bit, even with valve lashes gauged correctly. im gonna say it's prob normal.

Wow I know what happened now. I re-adjusted all the valves and to my suprise cylinder 3 both exhaust valves, rocker arms came off lose and were floating. That made the horrible tickin noise. I re-adjusted all of them and the car sounds fine now. Wow my friend forgot to tighten the nut and they came off lose at higher rpm. I guess that's what made the WRX noise. Awww I kinda liked it. LOL peace.
