Default ECU program for a p72 all motor setup

Looking to get my ECU upgraded. Any referals to helping me in the right direction for my all motor setup?.. I know to stay away from jet... I own a VAFC but I know that will not be enough... Won't be able to get a hondadata till next year income tax time...lol

If hondata is unavailable there are a lot of options for you.

Is this P72 OBDI or OBDII?

What are you looking to have for a redline?

What cams are you going to be using?

What intake manifold? If your using the stock GSR manifold this will play into your ECU chip decision?

Once you have decided on these parameters it will be easier to recommend something for you.

But typically the Skunk2 program and the Mugen program work nicely with very aggresive timing and fuel maps. Also people on this board like Kenji's ECU but I have never used that one so can not speak to it. Hope that helps.
