H22 in a 84 crx????
i'm actually using my brother's sn...but...
i was wondering if it is possible, and if it is, how much custom work would i have to do ...how much does it differ from swapping a h22 in an eg??? i want to make the ultimate sleeper...please help...thanks

It's been done, but it's a really tight fit. The engine bay is tight in all three dimensions. The swap difficulty is like an EG swap multiplied. Like an EG swap it needs mounts, but no one makes a kit so it will require fabrication. The H22 isn't a very compact package. The engines configuration is designed for a car that has the firewall behind the crossmember not directly above it. That's why we have never done one. It can be done though.

i have the same set up in my 94 hatch. it well be a really tight fit. you are going to pay around 800 just for the custom lower mount, and a nice chunk for the wiring harness. if i were you i wouldn't do it cause the motor is to heavy for your car and it sits really low. my oil pan sits about 3 inchs off the ground and my exaust is about 2 all the way back. if i were you i would go with a b20.
