What's the car used for?

I picked up a pair of used Sparco Evo 2's with brackets for $800.

Maybe you could find some cheap reclinable sparcos? I sat in a few of them at a race shop, and they were very comfortable

S2K seats will require some rail modification if I remember correctly. And those sell for a pretty penny. I think that you could get better seats for the money. Just wait out and look for a good deal in the classifieds. A guy on here picked up a Recaro SPG for 500 bucks which is a killer deal. I would wait for something like that to come along. But if you plan on no roll bar then I would suggest Recaro SRD's. Not the JDM ones, but the cheaper USDM ones.

What's wrong with your stock seats?
A lot of people like those.

...and unless you're car is running under 12sec ETs (or is it 11 sec?), you dont need a roll bar/cage for drag racing, and therefore a race seat.

Personally, unless you find something horribly wrong w/ the OEM seats (and there really shouldn't be) I would save the money and/or put into something else.

I don't even know if for $400 you'll find anything decent, I know the EVO2 is around $800/seat.

if you drag race.. i think you even need a seat... you can be standing with no seats and still could do 1/4 race..

oem will do

wouldn't recommend the EVO2 for 1/4 mile and daily driving.

You weren't a ricer in the first place and by getting jdm recaros it is no different from getting other aftermarket seats except that it is heavier than stock.
