Good Sources for Info on G2 Integras??
looking for a good source of info on the G2 integras. mostly interested in trim levels and associated weight. brake information would be good too.

A 90 RS will be the lightest. A 92 RS will be the next lightest (other than the 91 RS) and have a little more power. Neither of them have sunroofs, and the drivetrain is all the same (except for the GSR, which had the 'unique' B17 in it).
Every 90-93 teg that I've ever looked at seemed to have a ton of miles on them though.

Interested in a 1990 'GS shell in perfect condtion for free? Heck I'd even throw in the motor too for free. I need the Integra shell out of the garage ASAP, and I'd really hate to have to scrap it since it's never been wrecked and the chassis/body is perfect...
NOTE: not street legal though - don't know if it could be made street legal again either...
Don't forget about the G2 GSR's either:
92-93 GSR = 170hp
There was one within a few miles of me listed on autotrader with 80,000 miles for just over $6k.... looked to be in immaculate condition. Too bad I'm not into Integra's anymore, it would have been a sweet deal.

a couple of my buddies down here in SD have been autocrossing their DA's. One is a 92 gsr, the other a 92 rs. After a little while they decided just to build the RS and stop using the gsr.....for them everything seems to be better about the RS (low end power, much lighter, different gearing). All the guy's running EF's in STS were a bit surprised when a DA started beating them.

Does not surprise me at all. I've always said that if someone would build a 92 RS to STS specs, it would be a great car for the class. The RS is basically a no option car.
The GSR, while having more peak power, is hampered by a heavier chassis (sunroof and other power options) and poor low-end torque.

If your looking for a future IT car, go with an RS/LS/GS, they run at the front in my region in ITA and the 92-93 GSR will bump you up to ITS where you will get stomped by the BMWs, etc.

that would be great! prefered car would be a 92 RS. another car on my list is a MkIII Golf/Jetta. i would like a Golf GTI, but a Jetta GLS would be ok too. (4 bangers, not the 6's) nothing like being picky, eh?
thanks for the help guys. the website .RJ and Hracer posted was really helpful. i've got 90% of the information i was looking for. the last 10% is what one of these bad boys would weigh in STS trim and how many rev's i can safely turn on the motor. a 6500rpm rev limit with a short 2nd gear is definitely a handicap for autocross. my math puts it at around 55mph top speed in 2nd.

A 92-93 RS is about 2300 - 2350 in STS trim. Pretty sure that the stock rev limit is ~6800. We run ours to ~7200 RPM and so far no problems. :knocksonwood:
