Default 929rr vibration

I have a 2000 929rr. It has about 10 k miles on it. Lately I have been noticing a new vibration. At about 5000 rpm the entire bike starts to vibrate. This have never happened before and I though it might be a crank bearing. Could it also be the cam chain tensioner? I can feel the vibration in the tank, footpegs and handle bars. Help would be appreciated!

Default Re: 929rr vibration (DP0350)

I have this same problem on my 96 Cbr 600. I changed my cam chain tensioner to an ape manual tensioner a while back before the problem so it is not that. I have also synced the carbs and done a tune up with no progress on the engine vibration. Please let me know what you find out.
