Hatch Fitment???????
I have a 95 GSR, and i just bought a 00 GSR hatch. I put the 00 hatch on but it isnt lining up very well, I will try and get some pictures, but to breifly explain it, all the body lines are matched on the top and the corners, but the lower part between the tail lights sticks out a 1/4 inch. Are these hatches even interchangable?
Yes they are interchangable, however you have to look at things like possible damage to either your car or the replacement hatch, proper adjustment, age, the potential of warpage, and a number of other factors.

Yes, damage/repair to the vehicle is the number one reason why it might be slightly off. Also make sure you are doing this on a flat surface. You'll be surprised how much the body flexes when the car isn't on flat ground.
Was any of the cars in an accident before?
Try it one day, put one of your rear wheels higher than the rest of the wheels, I'm sure once you open your hatch, it probably won't even close cuz everything is so off.
