Default b18a1 trouble

i got the engine in, it starts but have few things happening
it idles high, but when i move a vacuum line it runs good but then has problems when using the throttle, it struggles

then when i took it for a little test drive in 2nd gear it maxed out at 25 mph

i think it's the vacuume lines

anyone know what to check to get the car running a little better so i can get it to a mechanic for a tune up

did you remove both dust caps off the backside of the wheel bearings? They will keep your cv axles from moving freely. Acceleration feels like your brakes are locked thats how i would describe it. Also your engine might run a higher rpm when u first crank it up then will go down when its warmed up.

i did both dust caps that works fine, it just the vacuum lines i think, its just rinning like ****, when i move a couple of the vacuum lines the rpm goes down and sounds good, but then when using the throttle it starts have problems, the vacuum lines that i have moved may cause that, but i do not know, then there is a wire that is loose somewhere, it kills the engine when moved, i will find that

just need a pic of what someone else did for there vacuum lines then go from there
