Default difference effects in hp on all motor and turbo, why?

if i had a 93 hatchback with gsr with some upgraded parts and it had 200 whp
compare to a
93 hatchback with a gsr with turbo and it had 200 whp

should i have around the same time with same driver/clutch? if not, how come its different even tho the hp are around the same? I know it mite be a stupid question but yea i dont realli understand...people say all motor cars with equal amount of hp and tq as turbo cars are faster..can someone clarify

More low end torque....you will be making a lot more power before he even hits his main powerband which will be in the upper RPM range.

It would be very hard to get the same tq out of a NA car as a turbo car with equal hp. Turbos make big torque.

The turbo engine will have more area under the curve; its not all about peak HP. The 200whp FI engine will be faster, given that other factors are the same.

Turbo cars will generally have more power under the curve, and therefore will be faster.

This is a discussion that will go nowhere though, because they are too many factors effecting it.
