other useless stuff..

What I need to know is what turbo would be best for price/performance. I'm not on a tiny budget, but I don't want to spend a grand on just the turbo. I'm trying to get high, safe whp #s for every day driving, and I'll up the boost to about 14psi at the track, so keep that in mind, too. I'm somewhat new to the turbo scene. Thanks guys.

 

If you're gonna be boosting on a stock bottom end go for a SC34, quick spool and a lot of power.

 

could you link me to one? ( this info is actually for my bro ).. I think he is putting JE 9:1 pistons in it, if that helps any.

 

I think that SC34 is a bit small for your needs. I found that the perfect turbo for that particular motor that is a stock block is either ther Innovative T04E Street 50 or the GT32E turbo (This uses a standard 360 degree bearing and a GT exhaust wheel that is almost as efficient as a ball bearing..
