I was trying to install a USDM ITR 1" brake MC and booster into my 98 civic EX. However, the ITR booster seems too big and it doesn't sit into my firewall very well. I cannot hv all 4 bolts up coz it doesn't sit even. Wonder how did people get it fits? do I need a spacer or something?

did search, but cannot find the solution. plz help.

Thanks Fred and pdiggitydogg. I read pdiggitydogg's thread b4 I asked this (a very good thread with excellent pictures, very informative). However, I've no clue why it doesn't fit my firewall. My car is 98 EX auto, the stock brake is 15/16 MC but the USDM ITR booster seems alot bigger than the stock one. I wonder if auto has different firewall pattern from manual EX.

Question for pdiggitydogg: What's the diameter for your JDM booster? i wonder if JDM has a smaller diameter than USDM. Thanks again.
