Hello.

I'm looking into buying a '91 CRX 1,6 v-tec.
What do I need to know about the different aspects of this car?
Anything that I need to consider upgrading right away?

I'm buying this car as a project. Going to use it both on the streets and the track, but mainly as a night cruiser.

Planing on going for a Spoon "overhaul"/ upgrade of the engine, and I'm looking into a TEIN suspension setup.

Any other ideas?

You need to know that it's called "VTEC" not "V-tech".

 

"Spoon" is a JDM Parts house...... basically they take Honda Parts... polish them a little bit and sell it for 10 times more...

Research what your goal is and then go from there..... when you find out what Spoom parts cost VS Other Parts....youll want to go with the other parts

 

That is not always true. I found out how much Spoon parts are and I proceeded to buy them. Thats because I know that there gonna be good. It's and OEM Honda part made even better! (Is that possible, why yes it is) Spoon Sports
