Default HKS Circle Earth (ITR Vs. Si)

Hey guys.......

Considering buying this for my 2000 Civic Si. They have the Universal Option and an ITR option available. Im wondering if the ITR version would fit my car (I dont see why it wouldnt?) or would i be safer going with the Universal. what do you guys think. the ITR seems more appealing since it is honda specific, where as the unversial is not. I mean how different can the ITR and the Si (B16) be when wiring in a grounding kit?

any advice?

I can't imagine they'd be any different, but someone who knows more about grounding systems speak up.

I'd imagine the "ITR" option would have the wires in specific places for a B18C.

The ITR version is actually made for the RHD model so the wires might not be the proper length. Thats what happened in my case anyway.

Hey guys,
Those of you with the HKS set up, I was wondering if you could help me out. I got the universal kit for my Si and its all in Japanese (obviously) well Im not the best at reading Japanese so i was wondering if you could tell me the connections that the ITR kit makes. Im not sure where to connect each terminal too.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If i were u guys id get the sun hyper ground system instead of the hks circle earth system. I recently purchased the circle earth system for my dc2 ls/vtec car and i had a bit of a rough time just trying to figure out where to mount all the grounding wires. The kit specifcally comes with 8 wires and the instructions are all in japanese and the kit is more suited for the jdm dc2. Well when i started the installation i was in aww, trying to figure out where to begin. Well after about few minutes of thinking i was like the instructions is not going to work for the usdm cars. So i just mounted all the grounds in the opposite of what the pictures in the instructions showed and i mounted some of the wires to the firewall and chassis. But personally i think hks could have come out with a kit for the usdm and some english instructions. Dont get me wrong the kit did help alot because my old grounds was all corroded and now the car starts up better than before but dont look into grounding kits for more hp and tq cuz u wont get any maybe only 1 hp or tq. But if u like the idea that your car is getting good voltage and a good ground then u should purchase one of the grounding kits. Also just to add another note, i have heard the grounding kits have good results with turboed app. cars.

Great post,

I got the Universal kit because of that reason, the ITR kit is made for RHD ITRs. However the universal kit comes with no pictures since it is not vehicle specific. i have about 8 ft of wire that i cut to whatever length i want and crimp on my own terminal endings.

could you provide some help as to what connections the ITR Kit calls for? im so lost.

I also sent you a PM
