what are these hoses by speedo cable on a b18 for?

what are these hoses by speedo cable on a b18 for?

we are trying to figure out where these go as we are doing a swap into an ef civic.

any ideas

they are for speed sensitive power steering. disregard them because usdm ef's dont have this feature. only da tegs do. unless you have a 4 door civic ex from like 1991 which may have had p/s then they are ponitless. just loop the hoses to keep dirt out of the vss.
