Front Signals & Fender Eliminator for '04 600RR
Need to know what all to do and how bad is it to change out the front signals for flush mounts, and re-wire for fender elimator? Any suggestions?
The front signals shouldn't be hard to install unless you get the kind that you have to cut your fairing. and when you say fender eliminator do you mean you want to integrate your blinkers into your taillights or do you want to buy aftermarket blinkers for the rear? The integrator is more involved but if you are just buying another set of blinkers it shoudn't be hard at all.
wait nm you have an RR so you wouldn't use a taillight integrator so ya all in all is should only take you about 1 1/2 hours if you be careful and take your time.

There is only a couple of undertails out for the 600rr if thats what you're talking about. Just make sure your flush mounts dont go deep because they will hit the ram air. Also most flush mounts you'll have to cut off the little lip that comes up. Its kind of a pain to remove the front fairing to install new lights but you gotta do what you gotta do. I opted for short stalks in the front.
Look around at http://www.600rr.net. You will find all you need there
I have a red and black f4i with some ferring dammage. Is the set you have complete. I guess what im asking is, if I bought urs could I change the color colpletely
Just taking off the rear mud flap and switching out all that for small License plate mount and putting short stalks on the reflector brackets.... mainly interested in what all i need to do for the front signals to get them off......
We took off my buddy's rear fender on his 03 rr, and taking off the tail fairing on the 600rr is a BITCH. You've gotta bend the **** outta the thing, but it flexes a lot more than you'd expect
We just left teh whole thing off, but i'd imagine that it wouldn't be that hard to install new lights, there are like 4 little wires w/clips goin back there, just put in a new clip and kablam!
