Hi .. iv done a few searches .. tried typing in a few different things .. couldnt find good info on this

i was wondering if anyone knew a site or how to tell what tranny is from what from the tranny code ... the reason why is ...iv got a 88-91 tranny .. but wanted to know what series it is from ...

any help on this would be great ..

I know it's in the archives, but I don't remember the name of the thread.

 

i found on how to tell if its an si or dx. But just wondering if there is any wat to tell what year it is, since 88 are diffrent from 89-91. Owell, i guess ill have to take out the tranny and count the splines. Would like to have the clutch b4 i pull it out. f ay tranny gurus know, give us some info.
