Last night i was in the garage, had seat cover off. went to cover back on and key fell in there. what is the least destructive way to get access to my key again. I do not want to get a new one from the dealer. Any help is appreciated, thanks, Derek

Your gonna have to get a new key.

 

Pick up bike. Turn upside down. Shake.

Can you possibly take the tail fairings off? And access the trunk that way? Otherwise, yeah, you might just have to go to the dealer.

 

call a locksmith...they can open it for you....

 

I thought about takin the tail fairing off but it won't come off because the seat is over it. Wait now that i see you have an F4i i just thought of something take off your front seat and get someone with small arms/hands and see if you can reach back there. YOu should be able to

 

yea, thats a good idea. Take the front seat off and see if you can get it from there. If not, drill out your undertail...but only if you were looking to get an aftermarket one.

hey guys, i took off the front seat, key slid right out. Thanks a lot. Extremly helpful board, i think i'm going to be a regular from now on.
