Default roll cage & cobra seats install PIC. (54k come in and look!!!!)

this is how my car will perform the season 2004.

REMOVED ****:
- driver side airbag
- passenger side airbag
- airbag computer
- rear seats
- front speakers
- rear speaker
- oem flywheel / clutchnet stage 2 clutch
- carpet
- all stock belts
- oem Recaros
- Schroth 3 point harness
- radio antenna
- some speaker wires and other useless misc stuff
- that 5 matts which are on the trunck floor

ending up with about - 50 kg

The Roll cage and the Schroth 6 point harness are about 25 kg. So my car is about 25 kg lighter but having an cage now. ....the difference from the oem seats vs the Cobras, clutch and harness was taken in accoutn

this **** is new
- Tilton carbon twin disc with them pressure cylinder
- Cobra Suzuka áll Alcantara seats
- Schroth 6 point harness
- Wiechers roll cage
- Momo steering wheel
- coming next week: MUGEN gen. 2 WING

oh yeah, here are some pics, but I have to install the passenger Cobra.

Wow, looks amazing. Both your interior and engine bay look clean enough to eat off of

Did you guys have sound deadening in your Rs?

Hmm...I would've thought the Euro Rs would be without all the sound deadening as well.

why not go through the dash in the front? wouldn't that be a lot better? I see no crossbar across the front there, which makes me think you might as well have just done a rollbar..

it is way too much hassle to pull out the dash board and with a cage thru the dash I may have problems with the A-Pillar mount and my gauges

heh.. a "hassle" when it comes to a roll cage is funny to me.. my point was more that the design is not as good, ie. less safe..

That harness bar is too low, will not allow you to properly install the shoulder belts, and also it appears that the bolt connections in the rear supports are loaded in shear

"Ideally, shoulder straps should not bend more than 10° from the horizontal plane at the top of the shoulders. Maximum allowed by FIA rules is 45°"

And yes, the way it's mounted is way t00 low...

I have a 3 inch wide belt there is no need for a polster, shoulder polsters are for girls....and the belts are super adjustable, I easily can wear polsters if I want.

My old 3 point harness had 45 degrees back and I am still okay and I dont care FIA, cause I do not built my car to them rules If I feel unsafe with the harness mounting area during driving I will mount the belts at the oem rear seat mounts
