Default engine just dying after driving for long periods of time, can anyone help?

hey, i have a 98 EK hb w/ a JDM b20b. whenever i drive for more than an hour and a half if i turn off my engine then come back our and try to start it again it wont start. the crank wont even turn. i have to wait for like 30-45mins or for the car to cool down to be able to start it again. was wondering if anyone could help tell me whats wrong?

Im not postive what it is, but does your fan on the radiator work? My bro had the same problem and it was cause of his radiator fan....got to hot and wouldnt start. Or maybe it is your distributer?

Was going to say to check is your ignitor--component in the distributor. Can swap it from just about any other Honda distributor. They can get heat soaked and flake out. When they cool down a bit run fine. Some symtoms would include the tachometer wiggin out on you.

But because the crank won't turn I'd look at the main relay, could be dry solder joints.

hum alright, thx for the info. if i take it into a shop would they know what to do? cuz i'm not very good w/ wiring and such
