Motosports Dynamics has an excellent reputation. Henry can tune anything.

so what about tuning specifically with hondata? should i go motorsports dynamics , since they are closer, or are the others better for tuning hondata, with turbo by the way
dynospot has been a Hondata tuner since hondata first started. Call Hondata and ask them which shop to use, I'm sure they will say DSR.
Yes DSR only dynotunes cars. Street tuning cars is stupid IMO, not to mention its illegal and unsafe to do. DSR is 100 legal and by the book. Street tuning, driving, etc... should be left to the owner of the car.

frank know a lot about every import. he tunes with WOT and partial. he will talk to you about what kind of power you want. hes not the kind of person who want talk if it seems like your not gonna give him business, very good customer service.
i know he charges $175hr.
go check him out on RACETUNE.net
theres a car on the site with a turbo b series motor tuned with hondata. its a very reliable car.

Vernon only street tunes. He does a very good job also. I don't know who told you it takes a week to get the part throttle down. Thats not true at all. Personally I'd rather have my car tuned on the street than on the dyno, unless the tuning is going to be done on a dyno-pak or any other load dyno. But the street is the best in my personal opinion.

motorsport dynamics and midnight performance are both NOT hondata certified for tuning.
your best bet for Northern Cali tuning would either be DSR or Modacar.

thanks you guys.........also, i was wondering if i go to dsr with my ecu, can they have it hondata ready with a base map and socketed that same day. i don't have money for the dyno tune yet so i wanna just drive my car for now til i save up some cash. and is it safe for drivability and performance even though tuning is the best route...???????

If you call and make an appointment, yes they can setup your ECU for hondata with map the same day as long as your ECU is a Hondata compatible ECU and works correctly (many people have been getting defective stock ECU's lately).
Give Dynospot a call 408-271-9800 this week and they can set you up with all the info, etc... (FYI: Dynospot is closed this Monday for the holiday). They only work by appointments, so make sure you make one.
