Default Street leagal drags in Fontana

Does anyone know if they will allow track cars to run at these street legal events?

I called to find out the REAL rules. I was told that your car must be street legal -

Insurance
Muffler
Cat.
Nothing faster then 10 sec
Reg.
And of course follow all NHRA tech rules.

I called the # found on the site and talked to "DAVE" he said no way would they change the rules and "NEXT YEAR" we will look at changing them to get more people to attend. I tried to explain to him about the "STREET CARS" of today and how alot of us dont go do to the rules and he really didn't care to hear it. If anyone know's anyhting else please let us know. As it is now we really have no cars to take with these rules ??????

They check registration and insurance. You need a muffler, but they don't look for a cat. They boot you if you go quicker than 10.00. I've gone 10.60's at the Fontana street legal events.

fontana hooks up great. ive broken many axles at there facility.. but i dunno what it is but the location or something sucks for going fast. its like palmdale in a sense, but alot nicer.. only thing worthwhile in that whole region is pomona raceway.. thats it.

SpeedTrix OWNS you Tony! ha ha just kidding. Its the guy in the White Coupe, you member, ya you member.

Maybe see you tonight!

I don't think Track cars can run unless they are registered as a street car. sucks!

You have to have a "muffler". Reg, and ins.

It isn't hard to make paperwork up to get in there. Not that it's really worth going to. Lacr is a much better time then fontana is.
