She has 2900 miles on her. Quick question, I did not recieve an owners manual with the bike since it was bought used, but if the bike were low on oil, the oil light would flash while the engine is running, correct? I just want to make sure as the oil light flashes when the power is on, but not when the bike is cranked.

Yes, the oil light should not be on while you are riding.

 

It must be a VW thing to own a Hinda Motorcycle I have a 2001 GTi 1.8t and just bought my CBR600F4i to... Ya there great bikes I like the egronomics of them better then the 600RR.... to me the new 600's are to wide and the RR when i sit on it it feels like i'm endowing....
Ya get the frame siders don't attemt to put them on bu your self the plastics have to be cut.... and pick up a 2 Bro's exhaust you'll like it...

I think the first mod will be the manual CCT. Well, maybe that and the frame sliders at the same time, but other than that, I plan to keep her stock and just enjoy riding.

that is a good deal...bike looks really clean in the pics... And yes, get frame sliders. They take about 30min-1hr to install....pretty simple. I dunno what that other guy is talking about when he says not to attempt it yourself...must have never drilled a hole before

Do your own frame sliders man. I paid some jackholes WAY too much back in the day on my purdy F4i and they jacked up the holes, I had to hide the carnage with furniture grommets (give a round clean look y'all). My friend and I did them to his F4i ourselves. Take the fairing off and put the sliders on the frame, lay a thin layer of clay on the inside of the fairing a line the fairing back up against the bike like you were to put in on and press, now you have a nice lil' guide, dremmel a starter hole and hold it back up and peak just to make sure and make minor adjustments, if you're way off you did something totally wrong, just take your time and take pride in your work!
