When they said SVO block they were probably referring to the aftermarket tall deck SVO block produced. SVO is the equivalent to FRPP now, producing aftermarket parts for Fords. All I have to say is good luck finding an SVO block now. 223 were produced and sold in 1989, and all were sold. Esslinger grabbed a bunch of em (>20) when SVO was trying to get rid of them because they wern't selling, but I doubt Esslinger has any now. Your best bet would be to cruise all the turbo-4 ford pages and ask around, maybe even call up esslinger and see if they have on record who they sold them to, and call them up and try to track one down. I have a friend with one of the tall deck blocks in his mustang (with a billet 3.85 crank, 3.85 bore for 2.9 litres powering an SC61) and he has been offered lots of cash for it on dozens of occasions. Good luck finding one
