I read the VAFC post the big *** one so it gave me a bit of everything so i narrowed it down to this. If Vtec engagement point is coverted to 5400rpm and everything else is the same is this going to be the same settings as having the vafc not install and practically stock? We played around with it and I initiallized it and put the vtec to 5400rpm he says 2 things, it seems to be sluggish on start and he said when vtec kicks in it's missing some extra juice. Is this just his imagination?

what year prelude is it? IIRC the vtec crossover on the 5th gen is 5200 and 5000 or 5100 on a 4th gen.

 

It's a 5th gen lude, it's a 1999 to be exact, IIRC what's that mean?
