logic dictates that the 96 spec jdm header would have more torque than the 98 spec ( 4-2-1 VS 4-1 ). however, when i look up the specs in my hyper rev book, the 98 spec type r has more torque, and at a lower rpm as well. can i get some feedback on this, preferably from someone who has tried both headers? thanks

 

The max torque peak doesn't say everything about the whole torque curve. I think the difference is small.

 

did you feel a difference when you upgraded from your stock euro header to the jdm 4 -1 ?

 

I felt more torque/power between 5000 rpm and 8000 rpm.

Yes I felt mine reving quicker with my DC JDM 4-1.
