Default b18c4(b18c1) or b18c6..Which is best in the long run for OEM style tuning :-)

Hi,all

I've got a b18c6 sitting in my garage waiting to be put into my car. I got it dirt cheap.
Also, might have the possibility to get a b18c4 (same as your b18c1) for cheap as well..

When I browse HT I see lots of threads about how to tune the c1 ,but there's not much about the c6 (or c5 for that matter).

I have IM and TB for the c6 already. Also Toda header, 2.5in cat and catback.

Should put the c6 up around 175whp or so, and probably 170 for the c4 I guess..Not much difference there (I just tuned a c4 to 163whp and it had stock IM and DC JDM header) ..
The toda made 5whp more on my b16..Hoping it will make more on the b18...

SO basically..With the c4 I already have plands for the future:

Skunk2 IM
bigger TB
CTR pistons
CTR cams and valvetrain

should bump the hp quite a bit

I prefer to stick to OEM parts..With the c4 I can do that and still get very high compresion and all..But how about the c6 ??

What could be done to it ? I know it will give me a little bit more power to begin with, but that's about it as far as I can see

And then I could brag about it being type arrrr and all

Let's get some ideas..For modding the c6 with OEM parts..What can be done ?? Anything ???
