Default Solutions to rubbing rear suspension

My brother has a 2000 v6 coupe
His set up is as follows....
Eibach Pro-kit Springs and Eibach Sway bars
Tokico HP Blues

17X7 Enkei's with a 40 offset
215/50's

The problem is only when hitting a fairly serious bump the rear tires rub. Other than that it handles like a charm.
For a while he was running with spring spacers in as a temporary ghetto solution, but I was thinking....
Would adjustable shocks do the trick?
I've read about rolling the fenders, it doesn't even sound good, but what all does it entail? We would like to avoid simply cutting a whole or space out to prevent the rubbing, we'd like to keep the body in tact. What are some long term solutions?
TIA

right on

more than likely adjustable shocks will help with this problem, but it might not. the rubbing shouldnt be all that much of a problem to you unless you really hate it for that 1 second that it rubs over occasional big bumps. if you dont have aftermarket shocks to begin with, you should get some

whats the drop with your prokits? adjustable shocks are always a grand idea when lowering your car a noticable amount(1.5+??). you might want to get them anyway since you will want them in the future and see if it helps

prokits are roughly 1.3" drop, and were designed to be able to work well with OEM shocks....though adjustables will make a world of difference.....

for the avatar, thats just a woman with 2 HUGE *** goiters on her neck......common problem in 3rd world countries, created by a lack of iodine in the diet (hence why most table salt is iodized)

prokit for accord is 1.5 inch drop

I was on prokit with the 17x7, with TLS swaybar and it's not even close to touching anything.

then i drop my pos with h&R race, it still would rub.

it got to be something

It's definitely in the back, mostly on the passenger side, some on drivers side

That's Goiter girl, fw190bvi, was perfectly correct with the definition. I like it cause it looks like she's got a large black ball sac dangling from her neck.

What shocks were you running with?
and when you say it still would rub do you mean wouldn't?

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Now say if I were to go for the adj. shocks should I just get the rear or do them all around for the best compatible set up despite costs?
