si tranny question

si tranny question
I have a quick question for all you guys, my buddy has a si with 230,000 miles on it and all the gears work fine but at regular driving it grinds just a little in fifth gear, but at high rpm it slides right in. So im wandering if it is the clutch or if it is the tranny going out thaks for all your help Toren
