yo mike nice was racing last night doing like 90 during street racingversus gsr and some lady pulled put in front of him and head on collision. His car is totaled the intake manifold is in the dash that how hard the front end went in and the steering wheel is in to where the cluster is very hard hit guys . I was with him all night at hospital during surgery . He had 6 broken ribs broken feturn in thigh forgot how to say it shatter knee cap broken leg broken chest bone hes bad but hes alright. i took out 3 inches of the cam with the cam gear it snapped the cam from impact and belt came off Later guys

 

Damn that sux. Get ready to hear alot of crap about how he shouldn't have been racing. I would've at least found somewhere that there wasn't any traffic. No point risking a stranger's life too.

Sorry to hear about him but hopefully he didn't kill someone's mother/sister/daughter for nothing but alittle money or some bragging rights. Keep that **** on the track and hope he is ok.

It really isn't worth it. You find some yahoo to race, you win, and what do you get out of it? Bragging rights, say i won, I have a fast car? I decided a while ago that my street racing experiences are over!Thank god he is ok!

If he was smart enough to do it at a track. He wouldnt have had some lady pull out in front of him and risk both there lives. He would have flown past the finish and picked up his time slip. I guess $20 to go to a track is just too much.

but on the track its becomes a controlled enviroment where everyone participating understands and accepts the risk. Im sure this woman he hit had no intention of being part of a street race.
Bottom line is street racing is just stupid. If you simply have to do it, go to some back road and at at least block off any intersecting roads.
I hope mike recovers ok, but what happened to this woman? I hope she is/will be ok as well.

after thought: Mike is screwed. He will be slapped with a huge fine for racing, his insurance will be sky high (if he can find another company to take him). Not to mention the woman has the possibility to sue him etc etc etc. The ends just dont justify the means.

 

Yes, there is always a chance of crashing. But you can't crash into a car that is driven by an innocent bystander at the track. ******** that street race are the reason that the rest of us get pulled over for just driving down the street. I hope the lady in the other car is ok. If not, some vehicular homicide charges should be in order.

If I came home one day and my family said that another family member got killed by someone streetracing I would find them and kill them. AHHHHH I'm done ranting for now.

Yeah I know what you mean. My mom has come home a few times to say that she was almost hit by some cars that were going really fast. (I knew she meant cars that were racing). I was pissed about that. But if something actually DID happen.. man I think i would turn instant psycho.

Keep it off the streets and on the track otherwise your a idiot who deserves the consequences.

he got off easy. i know someone who killed another person in a street race. he was racing in a SL500 and the local PTA president pulled out from a side street, right in front of him at 80mph. he died on impact. imagine having to live with that. it was vehicular manslaughter

street racing is wrong no matter how you look at it.

 

Damn i hope he is okay,one of my friends in high school was on a road he thought no one was one and he was racing another car they were going about 75mph when it happened. my friend was in the suicide lane and got hit head on, hit car was in 2 seperate peices and he had like 10 broken bones, so i know how it would feel to have our boy in the hospital! tell him i said get well soon!
