im thinking of purchasing a set of ground control c.o. with 350f and 250r spring rate. Let say if i drop my car about 1.5 im assuming the ride will awesome if paired with aftermarket shocks(agx, illumina). Now if i drop the ride more will the spring rate change and how will ride change bouncy, stiff, or still smooth. Also are the rates that i was suggested is that close to stock ride.
I don't think the spring rates change the lower you go.. someone confirm this but i think its the same for any ride height. The only thing with progressive/semi progressive springs is the more you compress them the harder the spring rate gets..

You need springs more and more stiff the lower you go to keep your car off the bumpstops.</TD></TR></TABLE>
so i want to lower my car more then i need springs with higher spring rates so the ride will get stiffer right!

You should get the ground controls with the integra spring rates regardless of how low you want your ride, the stiffer springs will give you a better ride quality

the integra set-up is only 380/250... that's nothing for a "slammed" car. I have 380/450s and the front 380s are way too soft. I don't have really any fender gap... -2.5 degrees of camber. I want 650/550s.
The ride quality is all in your shocks. You can run as heavy as you want with stock shocks but you will have inadequate dampening ie it will ride like **** really bouncy. 350f /250r is not anywhere close to stock. It will feel much more responsive and a little firm. Get yourself a set of illuminas if you aren't going to go over a 400lb spring. Just don't tell tokico you are using adjustable perches it will void your warranty. I am running 450f and 500r with koni yellows and it is totally streetable. The ride is very firm on the street a little harsh but doable. My wifes car has 375f and 300r with illuminas and its dropped about 2 in, ride is great and the steering is very responsive and I can get the car to rotate fine even with the lower spring rates in the back.
One more thing to add the tokicos don't do well really low. Made that mistake with my wifes car. I wasn't riding on the bumpstops but the first set I had didn't last three months. I raised it up a bit and the second set is going on a year right now and they are sitll fine. The koni's will work anywhere in their stroke range as long as you stay off the bumpstops. You can search for crxlee on this forum he works for koni but some of his posts are really good on spring rates and dampening.
Oh yeah the spring rate will not change no matter how high or low you go.
