Default Installing Reverse Gauges for 96 Accord

I recently purchased reverse gauges for my 96 honda accord, but i cant seem to get to the gauges. I took out two screw that were in the top of the plastic, but i cant get the rest off. It looks like i have to take off the entire panel, but i dont want to break it. Is this what Im suppose to do?

if my memory serves me correct, a lot of the dash piece that has to be removed is clips along with screws, it takes some time and patience to do but it is do-able, the only thing i would worry about is the gauges themselves, you ruin one of those needles and your in for it! i F'ed up my gas guage in one of my accords and ever since then i feel like a limp dog, i wont touch or go near those gauges being they cost close to 100 bucks to replace!

I am helping a friend install some as well in his 94 Accord. I found the screw behind the sunroof/cruise button, the one behind the dimmer, and the one behind the rear window defroestor. Now i can't get the area that holds the A/C controlls out. Is there a screw that I am not finding that holds that area or what?
thanks.

here is a step by step guide to getting to your cluster.

1. take off the two screws up top (put these in a jar and dont lose them)
2. take out the defroster button, cruise control button, and the dimmer button by using a small flathead
3. behind the cruise control button and the defroster button there are two screws (one each side) take those out and try not to drop them
4. pull on the plastic panel so that the clips come out
5. swing it around and set it down along the dash and middle console, you dont need to disconnect any of the climate control stuff
6. there should be 4 screws holding the cluster in, take those out.
7. unplug all the wiring to the cluster
8. clips will hold the clear plastic etc.
9. do not take the needles off your gauge (unless you dont want them to work anymore)
10. if you got a well made indiglo kit then the screw holes will line up and the center hole will also be big enough for you to slide the needle through
11. you will prollie want to buy some double sided tape (real thin) to put along the back so the needles dont rub against the indiglos.

disclaimer: anything you do is not my fault.

to tell the truth by the time i had figured out what screws had to come out i ended up taking out everything to the arm rest. Because those two screws below the A/C unit really messed things up. to get to those you had to take out the center consule (tape/CD deck) but to take that out you have to take off your GloveBox becasue their are two screws behind it to the left of it, that is un-reachable.
After that you have to thier are two more screws at the bottom base on the center consule, BUT to get to that you have to take off you ArmRest!!!! It took me about and hour but i got the job done (If theirs a will, theirs a way) Just remeber what screws went where and but back the pieces the same way you took them off.
Good Luck
