Jackson Racing Supercharger for the ZC?
I was searching a website(digitalracer.com) for performance parts for my 91 H/B and a Jackson Racing Supercharger was listed for the ZC motor.Has any one tried one, and what was the conclusion.Does it give creditable power gains verses a turbo?Thanks-HC4G
Saw one on a car at a show, they dynoed the car, and I believe they hit 176 hp, with some other mods.....not certain what all was done though.
I do know that for some reason, that car is prone to clutch problems, and might not have been getting all the power to the ground.

Actually, I saw a ZC with a JRSC...the thing was nuts. When it shifted there was so much torque that the header deattached from the cat...creating a sort of blow off valve sound...pretty sweet little sleeper.

this i one of my freinds site. he had a rex with ZC and JRSC

well he sold the car recently to a local, so im sure its still around, and now he has himself a mitshibishi 3000 gt Vr4. the web site for that is http://www.gtvr4.com , if you care.
One of my customers runs a JRSC on a 91 CRX. It is a ZC JRSC and not a modified
88/91 SI D16. The JRSC has a few mods for better fit and the engine has very low static compression, nice but not race (prep) head work but is otherwise a messaged stock engine. As the earlier post said the car dyno's at about 170 at the wheels with 140 lbs torque. The engine dyno's at about 223 HP at the flywheel. The car went extremely lean at about 4300 RPM due to the poor condition of the engine management system about 250,000 mile stock injectors, ecu, fuel pump etc.) and robed us of better figures, but this is soon to be remidied. As with most uf us the customer has limited funds. I expect to get a legitimate 250HP with the JRSC with a few more mods.
The car does have clutch problems due to an "over-zealous" flywheel/clutch assembly design ie. "failed experiment" on my part.
The owners name is David Howe and he is from the Birminham area. He can often be found at my shopif you would like to leave him a message to call and talk(he never uses a computer).
The set-up is much fun and surprises most people with its performance and I think you would be pleased with it.

Blown90Hatch, do you by any chance have a pic of the charger on a b16? Which application would i use to apply it to a b16? Also, would you prefer it to be supercharged, or turbocharged? Sorry for askin so many questions...thanks for any comments
I have some pics somewhere...It has been a while....but I used the blower for the ITR. Actually I have done 2 with the ITR kit. Fits nicely. I miss by blower, but for wanting more power, it had to go and got replaced with a turbo.
