Default Gas mileage with H22?

I know preludes and accords get somewhere in the low to mid 20's with H22's. I was wondering what you light hatchbacks are geting with these big motors. Also let me know how built the motors are. Im contemplating a slightly more the bolt-ons built H22 in a VX, but I dont want to be geting screwed at the pump. TIA.

PS. I will be geting Hondata s200, so that would give me some more control of the air/fuel. Plus I hear that H22's are built to run rich from the factory.....

Yes that's true, it is built to run a bit richer from the factory. I get crappy mileage with my h22 but I need to get it tuned better and then I'll get back to u about that.

Not that bad as in..like 24? 25? I was assuming the lighter chassis would result in better gas mileage. I used to have an Ef with a poor mans type R. When it was first built runing off a PR3 I was geting 45 MPG!!!!! Which was kinda dangerous so I got the ECU chipped, but was still geting like 32-35 on the street. Anything above 25 would be acceptable.
