Default HA Sport Cable to Hydraulic Conversion...replacement parts?

I bought the cable to hydro conversion so I could put my B18A1 swap in my 92-95 civic with the cable transmission I got [S1]. I installed it over a year ago and haven't had a problem with it at all. I was under the car inspecting stuff the other day and looked at the slave. The little piece that comes with the HA Sport kit that looks like a turnbuckle [it has an eye and a threaded rod] is rusting up pretty bad. I just got off the phone with HA Sport, and they were not helpful AT ALL. The guy was very short with me. I asked if they sold just that piece, or if they knew where I could get one, and he told me I'd have to buy an entire new kit. This is complete bullshit, as that piece probably only costs a max of $10, and the kit is $200. I don't need a new tranny mount, and I don't need either of the brackets...just the pushrod piece.

If you're unsure as to what piece I'm talking about, go here: http://www.hasport.com/Products/Mounts.htm ...It's mount kit EGBCC, and it's the piece in the bottom right of the picture. If anyone knows where I can get another one of these, please help!!!!

I really thought the guys at HA Sport would have better customer service than this...this is complete bullshit. I'm willing to pay maybe $25 for that piece, but I'm sure as hell not buying a new ******* kit for $200 with a mount and brackets I don't need. *angry*

Default Re: HA Sport Cable to Hydraulic Conversion...replacement parts? (DaX)

Thanks to saleensolution, I think I found what I need.

McMaster carries a Female Threaded Shank Ball Joint Rod End. Using this with the proper size piece of allthread and two nuts, I think I'll be able to make my own replacement part, as long as the allthread can hold up to the pressure the slave will put on it.

Well, to show how pissed I am with customer service at HA Sport, be looking for the "DaX Cable to Hydro Conversion" coming out in a few weeks...I expect the price to be about $50. No bling bling billet tranny mount though, sorry. Function over form.
