Hey guys, I just noticed that the 5th Gen Prelude shock hat has two additional mounting points (threaded half screws) compared to the 4th Gen Prelude. 5th gen shock hat has 5 threaded half screws opposed to the 3 threaded half screws on the 4th Gen.

Can I just cut these off??? If so, will the shock sit as it should in the shock tower??

I didnt use those mounting points on my 5th gen. However 5th gen shocks also fit 94-97 Accords I think and my KYB shocks had those 2 extra holes and I didnt use them. But my friend with an Accord had to.
