What about cams man? I'm assuming you are using a GSR head. If you're using a b16 head subtract 2 points off the compression.

CTR pistons in a b18 are 12:1
ITR usdm 10:8.1 jdm 11:2.1

ITR rods are fine, dont need ARP head bolts,

The itr pistons in a usdm b18c1 make 11.2:1 compression? I would go with the ctr but im not sure if i would be able to run 92/93 pump...also cams are an issue too but my bottom end is what i will be building 1st.

Are you keeping gsr cams then with this setup?

It might make more sense to go with ctr cams and usdm itr springs and retainers... Cheaper $ wise... And you'll make more power.

BTW: How do you like the dg hood? Quality, fitment, etc? I'm considering them and TC and of course Fiber Images...

Probably wont keep the gsr cams. I am worried about getting the bottom end to spec 1st. I plan to do my bottom end and cam gears b4 anything else. My rings are bad in my gsr bottom and it smokes. I hate that. Looking at the R bottom because the solid build and the high revving capability.

I love the DG. Its great. Fitment is 2nd to none. Gaps are small if any. Fits the same as my oem. Everyone i have seen with a DG loves theirs. I also like the TC Spoilers one. Not as much as my DG but its nice. Fiber Images is ok but you get what you pay for with carbon. Ill let you see mine at the dyno day if you plan to be there. I cant wait to come down and meet some ATL cats. Also would be good seeing Eric...i havent seen him in a while.

Assuming you're gonna use ITR cams...

ITR pistons, you should hit maybe 178/128 or so
CTR pistons, you should do about 7-10 better on both HP and TQ.
