h22 weight?
Im going to be picking up a h22 for a core build up, And i have a question
How much does a h22 weigh without the head?
Will a 97 suspension hold the block without the head in the back? Everyone i know is being dicks and wont let me borrow a truck....

The shipping weight of my buddies H22A swap was 350lbs. And that was a FULL MOTOR AND TRANNY. I would have no problem putting a short block in the trunk if it fits. I would measure the openings and the width of the motor before i would drive there.

That seems on the light side of what I've read . . . . the most common figure I've seen tossed around is 385 pounds w/out the tranny.
