Default lack of obd2 h22a

how come there are so much more jdm obd1 h22s than obd2s? i dont have the money for a type s, but its so hard to find an obd2 one. i think i found a couple, maybe they were mistakes? anywho, what be the deal?

Obd1 motors are easier to tune and easier to install, imo. There are more obd1 motors available because Obd2 motors are more likely to be used right now because obd2 motors are newer. These are just a few examples.

not to mention the obd2 h22a's are quite expensive.
