ZC TPS question
I was doing a little reading and noticed that it says that the tps wires had to be switched around. When doing the MPFI swap the wires should be green, red, yellow (vs the yel, red, grn it was as a DX) My question is when standing on the pass. side looking at the TPS, how should the wire colors be. The reason I am asking is because my bf thinks that one of his problems could be the tps. He helped with the swap but, his friend did the wiring and I was the one that noticed that maybe the wiring wasn't done right on that part. I think that he extended the wires but he didn't switch the yel and grn wire. Now his friend knows ALOT about Nissans and Infinti's (he is a master tech) but this was his very first honda swap. I gave him all of the info to follow from the websites I gathered.
The car is a '88 hatch w/ a DOHC ZC. Just to clarify, my question is, what should the wire color order be when standing on the pass. side looking a the TPS. (i.e should it be yel on top, red in the middle, grn on the bottom, or whatever) also PICS would be a life saver. The main site that I had him follow was fourthgenhatch.com and his tps on his ZC looked upside down to me, but I could be wrong, so help me out please.

The last modification is VERY important! You must reverse the green/white and yellow/white wires on the Throttle Position Sensor, because the DX’s turns backwards.

I did know that much, but thanks. I just don't know if the guy that did my wiring switched the wires. He is out of town for another 2 weeks.
When looking in my BF car on the passenger side at the tps the wires are yel, red, grn. I was wondering if it is suppose to be that way or not.

Does the car drive ok? If the wires are backwards then you basically can't rev the engine much higher than about 3500 rpm. If it's not doing that, then it's fine and was wired correctly.
