Need some help... can't decode CEL
Alright, the CEL just came on the other day on my 95 civic EX, and I'm having a hard time deciphering what the code is... I jumped the service check connector, and turned the ignition to on, but the CEL just flashes constantly (long flashes, not short)...
I've pulled the codes many times before on this car, but I can't decipher what the hell it's trying to tell me, it just flashes constantly, no long flashes or short flashes or anything of the sort, it comes on immediately when I turn the ignition on with the service check connector jumped, and just flashes, flashes, flashes... no pattern or code.
I've tried also resetting the ECU just to see if the CEL would go away, but I left the battery disconnected for a couple hours and came back and reconnected it and the CEL comes on right after I start it up, no change.
The car seems to run fine as well, it's not doing anything out of the ordinary, pulls great, no problems at all that I can tell. I thought maybe it was the O2 sensor, so I swapped it with a friend's and it didn't make a difference after resetting the ECU.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm about to just take it down to Schucks or Autozone or something and see if they can pull anything more useful with a scanner or something, think this will work, or is that only with an OBDII car? (mine's OBD1).

Nevermind all, I fixed it. Put the car on jackstands yesterday evening to take a look around under there and investigate a possible exhaust leak as well. Ended up finding three sensors (two on the intake manifold, one that plugs into one of the power steering lines) that had their wires shredded. Not sure exactly what sensors they were, but all the wires were right in the same area and were all shredded, so I got out the solder gun and some heat shrink tubing and spliced them back together and stuck some wire loom around them and poof, the CEL is gone.
Still haven't been able to figure out what the hell caused the wires to be shredded... either a rodent chewed them or when my brother changed the oil on my car a while back he got them caught in the oil filter or something, I dunno. I'm happy it's fixed though, and it was simple.

Wouldn't be the first time I've seen this. My mom left work one evening to find that her car wouldn't start. Got it towed home to find out a squirrel, or something, chewed up some of the injector wires.

Yea, we see that all the time. They seem to like wire insulation.
He was probably throwing a code 10. (IAT sensor)
