Default Dyno results for my stock CRX

I made a few pulls at the local dynojet the other day...The CRX is bone stock except for a Pacesetter (yea, I know they suck, I bought it like that) exhaust and a gutted cat. No intake, no headers, nothing. Here are my numbers:

Max Power: 113.7 hp @ the wheels
Max Torque: 105 lbs/ft @ the wheels

I am AMAZED at these numbers for a few reasons. (1) the d16a6 motor (1989) was only rated at 106 crank horsepower which after the 15% drivetrain loss is only 90.1 hp @ the wheels, (2) My ZC motor in my Civic only put down 113.8 to the wheels (a difference of .1 hp!) and less torque, and (3) In certain areas (mainly midrange) my d16 had my ZC beat by as much as 15 lbs/ft of torque and 11 hp!!!! And my ZC had intake, header, exhaust, test pipe and FPR!

-Seth

P.S. Not trying to brag I was just really surprised and fealt like sharing.

it happened probably because of carbon build up makin higher compression that would geive u some extra hp

Yea, I have a ZC in my garage and was about to throw pistons and rods in it and turbocharge it...when I saw these numbers I was like, why bother with the ZC? I could throw pistons and rods in my d16 and do the same turbo for cheaper...and sell my ZC. I mean, since the motor is strong why not? The CRX feels quicker than my ZC civic because it has more power overall and is lighter. Not to mention the handling. By the way, what shot of NOS do you run??
