We all know that the 96-00 Civic hatchbacks were prone to rear subframe tearout. Has Honda solved this with the current EP hatch? Other than the RSX having a larger rear sway bar than the EP,is this the only difference between the two? I want to run a large rear swaybar but don't want to deal with the concept of a ripped rear I beam

Well I have a Type S and the Type S suspension has similar bars to a DC5 R. Both the EP3 and the DC5 Seem to have stronger subframes to me. I have the 22mm rear bar. it's a fairly good bar for street use. If you want to get a sway bar I would reccommend getting a CTR 22mm. As long as you get a OEM stuff your car should be able to handle it without having to re enforce it.
