Default Tire sizes

Has anyone used 205/55/15's instead of stock size 195/65/15? any decrease in response?? I just want to know if 205/55's will fit with out any problems. ive tried searchin but only found info on specific tires. sorry if this is too newbie, i dont know much bout tires

upside, you get quicker acceleration.. downside, you rack up more miles on the odometer than what you really drove, and you if plan on using it for daily use, your gas mileage will decrease if you drive on freeways since you'll be driving at a higher rpm..

if your stockers are 195 65 15 then you i assume you have a 6th gen. in which case use 205 60 15s.

4th and 5th genners who stock size is 195 60 15 use 205 55 15s.

yup 6th gen sedan...so im assuming accordin to ur post that the most i can go lower for the side wall is from 65 to 60 with out sacrificing anything that is

i think the car will be more stable spesially at the corners. I tried 205 for 14'' and the stability of my car increased.

i have em... of course i went from 185/70R14 to 205/55R15.... so yeah...practically the same. i dont lose gas mileage on the freeway and i dont see much better acceleration. all i see is a better tire with lots better handling.
