What's up with JG Engine Dynamics? Is Javier still in Business?

I am pretty sure he is still there. Javier has terrible health and spends alot of time down. I know that he had two strokes last year while building an engine for me.

I have heard!!!! people like cause business to go under unless you have a had a first person dealing with jg then you can talk but until then don't destroy the man business. the bad that you are talking about is in the past. JG i used his race cams back in the day and the things where good. i use his cams now . JG is the godfather of import drag racing if you don't know!!!!!!!!!!!!..know you do. name a big time racer that drives a Honda they started at JG

 

JG does good work, except problems with sleeves which happens to the best of them. My wifes car made 602hp and 456tq at 28psi. And it has stayed together.

 

Phones seem to be back up, got recording. Maybe phones went down or something.
I have heard Javier has been ill.
He is the master! Hope he is well.

I talked with Javier today and he is doing better, he is back in the shop trying to get things back on track, but as far as their work i have been dealing with javier for several years and he has done a kick *** job for me. He is building my new motor as we speak.

 

Well then you tell Javier to call people back. I know of a couple of people that have had motors and $$$ @ JG for about a year now. He won't return phone calls, won't return letters etc........

I dealt with JG as a first person so I can talk.I bought a short-block from them and it's was total piece of ****,gaskets still left on all surfaces,rings fucced,sleeves fucced.All its good for is killing insects with its deadly oil-antifreeze mix it puffs out the tail-pipe.My motor was similiar to this guys--&gt;http://www.myjgengine.com/ I should sue his *** like he did but its to much of a hassle since I'm not located in the same state as the pos so I cut my losses and moved on.I say there is at least a good 10 to 20 people on HT who have been screwed by JG one way or the other...

I can't even remember how many posts I have seen all over the internet about this very topic. Its always the same stories. I have never dealt with them but I will say where you smell smoke there is usually a fire. No way I would go there. It seems like GE is a much better place to go from what I hear. Hope you can get what you need at JG.

 

Yeh I started with JG, it took me a year to get my parts after I paid for them, and yes he will not answer the phone and will not return calls and won't return faxes, To this day he still owes me!!! In fact to get half my **** I had to drive from oklahoma to alhambra ca. to get my stuff, and had to listin to excusses about motec was closed, my parts were in his other shop, I stayed in a hotel for three days and I got $4000.00 out of $6500.00 I spent with him for my stuff and my customers parts, If he was the last motor builder, machinest on earth, Then I would take up basket weaving, before I spent a dime with this CROOK!!!!!!!! He still owes me and I hope he doesn't show up at any races. P.S. The world is round and what goes around comes around

 

Last year I got a motor from a friend , He old me money so he gave me his brand new JG block , it was all together . I put it in my race car , had 3 dyno passes and
2 trips down the 1320 . That ******* thing spun all the bearings . Warp the crank
Fucked up my Endyn head . Man I will never do business with JG ever .

my impression is that some of his products work good, and he knows what he is going on the technical side of things. but has zero idea how to run a business.

he has bad quality control, and pretty much no customer service.

but he did do teh head for leslie dursts motor.

 

 

that sucks , that website about homeboys engine is incredible , a monkey can put a motor together better . and as far as customer service , GE is this way , i think most others are too , my block is at AEBS right now , the said a week to a week and a half turnaround , its been almost 3 , and no word.....so we shall see.

Never had a problem with JG but I mean dealing with people on the net is tricky because there is so many shady people always trying to get something for free. I saw on of his motors in 1.8 form put out 210 whp very impressive. when your on top people will always try to knock you off........ If JG sucks so bad how did he have the fastes all motor car last year? Plus if his products suck why do you see his stuff on almost all of the 9sec - 11sec all motor cars, and for his turbo stuff i think jojo and other cars have proven his stuff to work good

It's because he used all the money he ripped off of everyone else to do research and build parts......

 

I have a JG drag motor and for the most part am very pleased with it. We did have a sleeve to sink but that happens with the best. Other than that I paid him and he sent me all my parts. The main problem is he does not sell rebuilt stock motors, he sells rebuilt performance engines. When you take a 4 cylinder engine and try to get 200-400+hp per liter you are running on the edge. Things are gonna break. Now for the intial quality issues I see where there can be some complaints but not from me, mine was clean and ready to drop in.

Now for the time issue. I was told the engine would be complete in a month(30 days) and it took 3 months(90 days) to get it. That still was not unreasonable. Found out later why it took so long, he was video taping the entire build and the dyno runs for his website.

 

bought jg springs and retianers javeier geek told me they will work with jun cams

i reveed to 7500 and **** dropped a valve aebs put it together **** javier geeek is he gonna pay to rebuilt my motor , bet not , fagot shoulkdnt of told me they springs and retainers will work with jun cams

i have 100% stock block so valve clearance is not an issue
