worng. if you do that your rear alignment wil be fuckered up.
they only thing you have to do is grind down the metal were the strut goes. (on the LCA). or maybe its the EK strut that is bigger.
any case it will work.
DO NOT USE EG or DC LCA's on an EK and do not use EK LCA's on a EG/DC.

I don't know what the guys above me are talking about.
I'm using EK rear shocks with my eg lca right now. NO problems here.
And my friend is using eg rear shocks on his EK.
Front shocks for eg and ek are the same.

thats what im talking about i just got part of it backwards. EG/DC LCA ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABEL WITH EK LCA. White EG6 said to use EK LCA.
i thought it was all going onto an EK

The EH/DC shock mount bushings are 10mm wider than the EJ. It would be easier to buy EJ shock mount bushings than to grind the existing bushing down to size, making sure you grind the same off both sides of the bushing. They are both the same diameter.

springs and struts are interchangeable. my tokico's and skunk2's are for 92-00 civics.</TD></TR></TABLE>
half right. some companies sell the same rear shock for 92-00 civics, as they include washers to make up for the different width of the lower LCA bushing. its easy to put a EG shock on an EK, as u just put 2 washers in to make up the extra gap due to the larger EG lower fork. however, most companies make different applications for EK and EG rear shocks. i.e. my agx are made for an EK, but i have them installed on my EG. i had to machine a couple mm off each side of the rear LCA bushing to get them to fit.

I called Tokico to order some of the top mount adjustable ***** and I asked this same question. Will EK shocks front and rear fit an EG? The answer I got from Tokico was that they WILL! I was told that the difference is that spacer that was mentioned in the above. Also just to note. If you are really nice to the Tokico people, they will send you free adjustable *****!
Tokico
Tokico
Tokico sells the same shock for eg's and ek's. Koni makes a ek and eg specific rear shock. EK rear lca's are narrower at the lower mount point. Eg's rear lca's are wider at the lower mount point. Tokico includes spacers with all of their rear shocks for this reason. I am using 96 gsr rear lca's in my ek and they are working fine. What kind of alignment problems were you having?
